LG G4

Hi,

Anyone experienced problems with LG G4, where the phone won't start up, or gets to the LG Life is good screen and turns off? Tried to do a hard reset but, when I go to the option to erase all data, I press yes and the phone just freezes.

Its still in warranty, purchased on 7/6/2015, but any ideas welcome.

Cheers,

Prem

Hi @Toby

Thanks for the response, not good I'm afraid,  10 working days finished yesterday and I've had no response whatsoever from O2. I sent an email late last night to the admin team, but still waiting on a response. I have just called up Customer Services, and they have emailed the admin team to get an update. The lady i spoke to will call me back once she gets a response

@Toby Todays update:

Had another voicemail from same O2 Agent saying Admin Team has not responded to her email yet, so how long are they going to keep me waiting for answer? The chase up was sent yesterday morning, an update of some sort would be better than blanking me\her. Utter nonsense, cannot believe O2 are up there as one of the best customer service providers out there!

3 weeks have passed since I have now tried to get this unlatching code fiasco sorted, I will persevere on...

Just got a email reponse, the joke is, this is for my orginal IMEI number, not the repaired one, unbelievable!!!!!

Hi,

Your unlatching request has been completed. Unlatching instructions :

The code you require for IMEI X is as follows :

  ??

 Unlatching the device :
Turn on the mobile handset Enter PIN code if required.
From the home screen press the Call button and then enter the following
key: 2945#*815# an unlock menu will automatically appear.
 Select Service Provider Lock.
Enter the unlock code SIM_Unlock ** and press ok the handset will be
reset automatically.
Switch off the handset insert the SIM card for the new network and then
switch the handset back on the phone is unlocked and ready for use.
Note** In most cases the required unlock code will be the SIM unlock
code. However on occasion it might be necessary to be used the SP_Lock
instead. If both codes are available please used the SIM_Unlock first.

Thank you,

O2 Customer Service

Usually "Your phone is not personalized" would mean it's not locked.
To save me going back over the thread, have you tried a non o2 sim in the phone?
