LG G4

Anonymous

Hi,

Anyone experienced problems with LG G4, where the phone won't start up, or gets to the LG Life is good screen and turns off? Tried to do a hard reset but, when I go to the option to erase all data, I press yes and the phone just freezes.

Its still in warranty, purchased on 7/6/2015, but any ideas welcome.

Cheers,

Prem

Hi Prem,

I'm sorry, we have not been able to provide you with unlatching code for
your device at this time as it has been requested from manufacturer. It
will be sent as soon as we receive it, this can take up to 10 working
days.

Kind Regards,
Admin Services

Trust me am impatient too lol, but I know I am in the right so just plugging away at them. Your going to love this response from the Complaints Review Team, I just sent a message to the person dealing with my repair fault, didn't she say that O2 were unable to get me the code...

Her response:
One of my colleagues in the Complaint Review Service has the unlocking tool. So I asked him directly for the code for you. We checked and we don’t have this. I have a feeling they may come back and say that they don’t hold the code. However I could be wrong.

Make of that what you will, the email to me says they are getting the code from the manufacturer!

Still contradiction everywhere but I'm sure @Toby will sort this out.

It could work, although why they didn't do this immediately is beyond me......

The contradiction is infuriating.

I gave Toby my phone number and IMEI numbers old and new, this morning. So hopefully one of the two avenues, should prove fruitful.
