HTC One Wifi Error

Anonymous
Not applicable

Since upgrading to 4.4.3 my HTC One's WiFi is broken.

Worked briefly then just stopped working all together!

Have tried, restarting, rebooting and resetting.

Have tried the old switch Airplane mode on/off.

Can't get to WiFi direct to rename the device as the option is greyed out.

Only thing I haven't tried is to update the software on the phone to 4.4.4 via a pc. (Not sure how to do this)

Any ideas would be greatfully received slight_smile

Si

Any official updates will come to your phone OTA (over the air) so the safest device is to only update with what is pushed out automatically.
Anyway, when you say "resetting" is this a full factory reset of the phone or just a reset of network settings?
A full phone reset should fix any update glitches such as the one you are experiencing.
