Hi. I've looked this up but the instructions (for J4) didn't match the information on my mobile. I'd like to delete the current list of Google search history and sometimes prevent it from saving searches from the outset.

@starfish tap the 3 dots top right of the browser.
Go to Settings, Privacy and clear browsing data.
If you don't want to be tracked you need to choose incognito mode.

On my "desktop" there's an icon containing several Google apps. I touch it to open it and then touch the "Google" icon (there are also the options of Chrome, Gmail, Maps, YouTube, Drive, Play Music, Duo, Photos and Play Store). That opens the page for me to say "okay Google" or type in the search bar, at the bottom is Discover, Updates, Search, Recent and More. The More logo is three horizontal dots. There are no dots, horizontal or vertical at the top, just hte usual time, battery, etc. When I press the bottom right three horizontal dots I get Personal Search, Reminders, Customise, Customise widget, Settings, Send feedback and Help. I touch Settings and get General, Notifications, Google Assistant, Voice, Language & Region and About. I won't go on about more sub-headings! But there other information I found gave me the same instructions as you. Am I opening the browser wrongly to start with or should it be another browser?

There would be no dots on the Google assistant page As suggested, use Chrome and if you have not got it then download it from the Play Store.

Hey @starfish , as it's been a couple of days since you last posted I was wondering if you'd made any progress with this by any chance?

That worked with Chrome, but I normally use Google. Isn't there a way to do it with Google or do I have to change to using Chrome?
