Hi, I have just changed my phone to a Google Pixel 3a and kept my number etc. However, I cannot connect to O2 free WiFi. When I enter my phone number it tells me that I need to enable cookies. I have done this of course, and Java script. It connects to other free services, cloud etc. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Hi @Paul5

Some help here

https://www.o2wifi.co.uk/about/faq

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to an O2 Wifi hotspot.
  2. On your new device, pick O2 Wifi from the list of networks.
  3. When you're connected, open a browser on your device. It'll take you to our sign-up page.
  4. Type in the mobile number you used when you first joined O2 Wifi.
  5. We'll text you a code. Make sure you have your mobile with you if you're connecting to another device.
  6. Type the code we texted you into your browser.

Best of luck and welcome to the forum Welcome

@Paul5

You'll need to call customer service to get the MAC address of your old phone removed from your account.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
