Can't receive text messages on Galaxy S20

Getting very frustrated now with my new Galaxy S20 5G. I am able to make and receive phone calls and send texts but I'm not receiving any texts... Which means I can't finish setting up my apps as a lot of them want to text me codes. I've googled for hours and tried everything I can find with no success. I tried phoning O2 but I can't get talking to anyone because it wasn't deemed urgent enough.

So far I have:

Restarted the phone (several times)

Updated the software

Removed the sim

Cleared the message cache

Triple checked the message centre number

Anybody any suggestions as to where I go from here? Any help much appreciated

I started to recieve texts this morning. Woohoo!

@Chris_K  can you confirm if this text issue is fixed properly? Is it area dependent as some are getting texts this morning and others not?

I received notification in the early hours of this morning that this issue has now been resolved. If you restart your phones, texts should work as normal.

Mine is working too. Yeyyy ...Only got messages that are from today tho.So the rest must be lost in the ether
