Can't receive text messages on Galaxy S20

Getting very frustrated now with my new Galaxy S20 5G. I am able to make and receive phone calls and send texts but I'm not receiving any texts... Which means I can't finish setting up my apps as a lot of them want to text me codes. I've googled for hours and tried everything I can find with no success. I tried phoning O2 but I can't get talking to anyone because it wasn't deemed urgent enough.

So far I have:

Restarted the phone (several times)

Updated the software

Removed the sim

Cleared the message cache

Triple checked the message centre number

Anybody any suggestions as to where I go from here? Any help much appreciated

Well on Twitter it says it’s been resolved which I don’t think it has as mine still won’t receive any texts or activate my iMessage etc

My iMessage & Facetime says waiting for authorisation still...

Kinda ruins the excitement of upgrading!

Problems receiving them, Yh my iMessage and FaceTime says that’s aswell. Stressing me out 😂 I want to get ride of my old phone so I can just use this new one

My Samsung s20+ still isn't receiving texts despite being rebooted numerous times

I just got a visual voicemail through from yesterday guys which hadn’t come through before. Hopefully this means we are on track!

I have exactly the same problem with my new iPhone 11 However I was able to set up WhatsApp by receiving the verification code via an automated call instead of a text.

I had the same problem but I am receiving texts this morning but I havnt received any texts from the last couple of days. Hopefully everyone's will start to work today.

New texts have finally started to come through this morning... Any ones sent in the last few days haven't though. Hoping thats just a backlog and they will come through eventually?
