Android 15 security patch for August 2025 not received.

My last android security patch was dated 1st July 2025, I'm wondering why I haven't received the August 1st 2025 security patch yet, has it not been rolled out yet by o2?

Nothing to do with O2.

Ask your phone manufacturer, but they are rolled out in batches by serial number.

Ok thanks. Seem to be stuck on the 1st of July patch.

I have asked my phone provider already but not heard anything from them yet.

I searched Google and found this:

It's possibly correct but don't trust AI to be 100% accurate.

Wait until you hear back from Moto, but they'll tell you the same as I said above.

My  Pixel 9 running Android 16 shows the last security patch there as 5th July and that is usually one of the first.

Dates of security patches vary. Not always the beginning of the month

My Pixel has it too but not every OE is the same.

I'll post back here if and when the next security patch is installed.

Looked at my update history and the last lot were either the 10th of July the 11th of July and the 21st of July, therefore possibly for August it will possibly come in tomorrow being the 10th of August who knows, don't forget my phone was new so some of those July updates were coming in different days till it caught up with the last one for July on the 21st.

I noticed via this link that the G55 Moto doesn't appear to be listed on it.
