I sent payment for the overdue account on the 10th of May. Could you please confirm payment and remove restrictions.

@Oladunni - the late payment needs to clear into O2's account before the systems will recognise the overdue account is settled and release the block on your handset so you can use it again for calls and mobile data. 24 hours is the norm, not counting weekends, once payment has cleared. Reboot your phone every now and then, it should come back by Weds if you paid late on Friday. You can avoid future issues if you set up a direct debit to pay your bills, as O2 recommends: Guide: How to Pay Your Bill (Contract)
