I went into the store and they couldn't even send the security code to my phone as the system just rolled over with a massive fart and went to sleep!

You'd think they'd be expecting high demand of the systems today for iPhone pre-orders, I mean its not like they don't experience heavy traffic for this every single year!

Ah well, all we can do is wait to see if it improves later on.

Yep, I got the same message, and it was in my basket at 13.03 then the website died a death...

We where just talking about this, as they know the traffic flows historically and should be able to plan, if this was in my industry on our busy days our asses would be hauled in front of the CEO, and some P45's issued.. 

Just not good enough anymore.. PPPP is all it is... 

 

What did you both order btw ?? I went Pro Max 512Gb in Desert Titanium was that colour looks so good

Now to go order some Xtreme Skins and a case, and then hope it arrives next Friday...

I got all the way to checkout, passed credit check, just had that final confirm to click and they took O2 Store offline!

 

It says everything should be saved, I hope that's correct!

Not if you're on their new system, now you enter the IMEI, answer a questionnaire and then send it off within 2-weeks of receiving the new handset.

@madasaf1sh The 16 pro I wanted but if that fails it will be the 16 blue, I like that one too. I have the 15 pro max at the moment but looking to downgrade a bit to get the new watch 10 as well. The joys of budgeting! 🤣

You can switch up online now, you don't have to go to a store as long as you're on the new O2 system '360'

@garetc I have completed the pre order on switch up in store, I am on the new system, they entered the IMEI, they answered the questionnaire. Once collected you post it off because if they were to do it in store today they would have had to take my current phone off me now leaving me without one
