To be fair if it's with DPD then it's not really O2's fault.
Unless you live somewhere remote, I can't see Thursday being accurate? The DPD app always overestimates, especially on weekends. I've normally found once it arrives at the local depot it goes out for delivery the same (or next) day even on weekends.

I passed an O2 retail store at 8.55am this (Saturday) morning. A short queue had formed with expectant customers. I did wonder as I consumed my Greggs, which was free on O2 Priority, whether their experiences were disappointment or euphoria !

That's my worry about the Vodaphone takeover of - or "merger" with - Three.
In the BT Cellnet era and in the very early days of O2, this was a brilliant business to be a customer of. Successive changes each seem to have chipped away at the infrastructure to leave us with what we have got now, which is mediocre and typical of the wider UK telecoms industry.

I have just been told more than 4 weeks I ordered the iPhone pro max 15 blue titanium 256gb on launch day. Still sat here in shock😱

Customer services telling me to return my old device to the returns address using my own packaging and a slip explaining things is crazy. Gonna wait to hear back from my complaint and numerous addresses I’ve emailed before doing anything.

@MetRP102 I placed my order around 8 ish on the pre order night. When I placed it I was assured that it would arrive in the 22nd September. I have just spoke to customer service on the phone and the lady I spoke to told me it wasn’t 4 weeks it would be 1-2 weeks. Fingers crossed better than 4 weeks

I got my order in at 13:02 last Friday, white titanium, 1tb. Got an email after midnight on Friday saying, out of stock. Anyone else who ordered 1tb got the same? And heard any updates? O2 quiet as always

After O2 store having no information or clue, spoke to 202 and spoke to live chat - no one has any clue or update at all. So if the stores cannot see, if customer services cannot see, if live chat cannot see any updates then...
