The O2 Community is a great place to get help and advice on O2 products and services, provide feedback and suggestions for the network, and have general chit chat.

My name's Martin, one of the Community Managers here on the O2 forum. I work with @lewys-gp and @RafaC who are also part of the Community team. Personally, I've been working on communities for the last 8 years and have been with O2 since February 2016! 

This thread is all about introducing yourself to the Community and we'd love to hear a bit more about you! Things like:

@Mi-Amigo  runs quizzes 2/3 times a week. We also have threads on Football, TV shows, a Naughty Step, Formula 1 and loads of other fun stuff...As well as a Virtual lounge where you can pop in for a chat, a virtual drink and talk about anything (except mobile phones) Lol x.

Hello - I have joined to try and talk to any experts about trying to get a default removed from wifes credit file.  She bought a phone via a 3rd party and returned it within the 14 day cooling off period.  This was in 2020.  We are having issues with remortgage hence trying to resolve urgently. 

We were expecting the 1st bill of £57 to be credited in full.  Instead, O2 took the amount by Direct Debit and this was later refunded to her, by her bank via the DD Guarantee.   O2 showed her account as settled with 2 credit agencies... but later flagged a default with a 3rd credit agency.  We beleive the initial bill should have been credited in full.  

We have the details of the CFR team.  I want to understand if they are helpful or do i need to consider legal advice.  

She was within the 14 day cooling off period, yet O2's poor process is costing us very very dearly when trying to remortgage.  

Advice very welcome.
