O2 will offer Apple’s latest products starting on 22nd September 2017, including the new generation iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus beginning 15th September at www.o2.co.uk/iphone, in store, voice and online, with iPhone X pre-order beginning Friday 27th October

I'd pretty much relegated myself to hearing nothing for a while as my confirmation wasnt til 08:44 for a SG 256 for store collection.

Been reading the comments now and again and seeing peoples joy from getting a parcel number etc.

Great to see. 

Just checked my order and I've now got a parcel number via DPD.

States it was dispatched today. So I guess there is a chance I may see it before the estimated 4 weeks that was stated when I finally ordered.

Will see how it goes anyway, as I'd pretty much forgotton that tomorrow is friday as didnt expect it then.

@Chris_K Any idea why I've been told twice on Live Chat that it's coming tomorrow? This was after giving my order number and going through security checks. Will be pretty disappointing having had my hopes raised and when I doubted, having had that confirmed!

After speaking with Live Chat again they’ve told me that DPD will text on the morning of delivery & I’ve been assured my phone was dispatched on 31st Oct & I’ll have it tomorrow

@charlo99 @Chris_K same as me! I was told “your delivery is gaurenteed to come on the 3rd” so I will be very annoyed if what I was told wasn’t the truth

@Chris_K Hi, could you explain why your system went live earlier than 08:01 on pre-order day leaving an awful lot of us to miss out on having our phones tomorrow???

I would also like to know if the stores open earlier tomorrow as live chat told me earlier even though I ordered for home delivery there would be surplus stock in store and to go there to collect my phone.... I don’t believe that information is true but I’m going to give it a blast anyway

The problem I’ve got with the whole situation is that I’m down £180. I only missed out because of an error on o2’s end and that’s fine. But charging the upfront cost four or five weeks before the product ships is a bit much. The lack of clarity over the stock situation is also kind of annoying.

Does that mean I will get it tomorrow?
