I ordered my phone before you and still havent received it yet 27/10/17 8:24... I'm being told different stories from o2 live chat and speaking with them over the phone. I spoke with live chat this morning to see if they had received any handsets in yet which they have said yes, the woman said that my order is in despatch process and i should get a text within 24 to 48hrs. I don't believe a word live chat say and think its disgraceful that they opened the ordering early plus people who have ordered after have received phones. O2 just dont care about the customers and keep lying to get additional sales.

Which phone did you order?

It's really irrelevant what time you ordered if you aren't taking which colour and memory option you ordered.

for me: 256GB Space Grey iPhone X - confirm email received at 08:11am on 27th Oct

I was informed twice by live chat on the 2nd that I would receive it on the 3rd, which didn't happen. Now I can't even get an ETA.

Ordered the 64gb Space Grey and confirmed at 8:24 27/10/17. Rang them the day after when they confirmed delivery on 03/11/17, then spoke with live chat who confirmed the same. Never turned up and was told 3-4 weeks, spoke with someone else who said it wouldnt be..

O2 cant give any correct info on delivery dates times etc, they just tell you what you want to hear.

I Pre-Ordered my iPhone X at 9am on 27th. Went through the whole process, signed online contract, paid upgrade fee etc and the sales person told me I was going to recieve it on the 3rd Nov from 8am.

My wife, who ordered hers at 3pm on the 27th was told the same.

Then come Thursday 2nd, my wife received an email saying hers was being delivered on Friday. I got nothing. So I called up to chat to them and find out what was happening. They told me initally that they couldnt find an order on my account.

They eventually found it and told me that yes, I would definitely be recieving mine on Friday also. I took the day off to make sure I was in to receive the delivery, which inevitably didnt arrive.

When I called up to find out where it was, they said that my account was on hold, and that my order wont arrive until at least 8th of December as they were out of stock.

So how the hell can O2 get away with such blatant lies? Then do nothing to help out the customers when they are left high and dry??

And how the hell did I order mine at 9am, and not get one, when my wife ordered hers at 3pm and still got hers??

Absolutely disgusted with the way that this has been handled. I've been with O2 for over ten years. Now I want to go elsewhere as I can't believe the total bull****** they have spurted at me over the last week to make sure they get their money.

Has anybody had a similar problem with the sales force basically lying through their teeth?

Hello,

I ordered my iPhone x 64 Grey on saturday night, I got an email a few hours later telling me that estimated delivery date is 2/12/2017.

I don't understand why people are getting so annoyed, o2 are going to give you an airtime credit for waiting. plus your new contract wont start until the phone is dispacted.

I for one don't mind waiting, ok I have paid my monies to upgrade but i am not getting charged for me new contract. I still have my current iPhone 7Plus. so its not like I am without a phone.

Cheers

Ian

This sounds like you had a much better experience than some Ian.

If I had been informed when I was receving mine, that would have been fine. The fact that the sales people all lied to me is the upsetting thing here. If, what seems to have happened, the sales people knew they were sold out BEFORE 9am, why keep telling people that they were receiving their orders when they knew that was not the case?

I took a day off. Wasted a day waiting. Are they going to pay me the days pay? No. Of course they arent.

If they had said at the time, I wouldnt be receiving it until December I may have taken my custom elsewhere. As it was I was happy to pay the extra £100 over the RRP to get it on launch day. A fact they seem to have been taking advantage of.

Some of us are annoyed because of the misleading information we have been given on numerous occasions, along with paying for a seperate contract that has ended.

If you are paying for a contract what can O2 give you as an incentive for your patience? Not having to pay for the days you dont have your phone? Wouldnt that be a given as you dont have the phone? For pay and go customers its great as you get air time etc...
