O2 will offer Apple’s latest products starting on 22nd September 2017, including the new generation iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus beginning 15th September at www.o2.co.uk/iphone, in store, voice and online, with iPhone X pre-order beginning Friday 27th October

No. When I ordered it it said up to 4 weeks. When did you order it?

28 oct but got told bye someone on live chat on Saturday I should I have it in 1 week but when I rang o2 the women said it’s not true I don’t know who believe at this point lol it’s taking the *bleep* tbh

I imagine the ones that have got theirs ordered on 27th and we’re hitting that order button rapid. Got to be in it to win it lol. I wasn’t too fussed so I ordered 29th. 64GB space grey.
They went out of stock before 10am on 27th apparently.
The 256 is a longer wait so I believe.

I was told by the 8th November, then 5-6 weeks until I said I’d preordered it then changed to up to 4 weeks. Nothing you can do, other providers might say 2 weeks but I doubt it. That’s just to get more customers.
I bet you’ll get it way before 4 weeks.

Hopefully I do get it before 4 weeks but if not I’m going to make a complaint because he told me 1 week but further down the chat he said I should get it before then but I’ve  got a feeling I won’t and I’m going to have to put a compliment in

I understand but it’s not O2’s fault. If you’re going to complain. Do it to Apple, ultimately it stops with them. O2 can’t send out what they don’t have.
I was fully aware that the iPhone X was in huge demand.
Live chat haven’t got a clue what they’re on about.

Yeh! I know but they can not just say you will be getting in a week when they don’t know when they will have stock of the iPhone X I’m not complaining about 02 I’m complaining about the person who said that but I’m not going to do anything like that yet I’m just going to wait for a email

My question is if will buy new iphone x i can get 50% airtime discount on it thanks

Hi. Now that the iPhone launch is over and done with I was wondering when the iPhone X will be included in the student discount scheme. I have been due to upgrade for a couple of
months now and am ready to order however I may as well wait for the 20% discount to include the X. How long after launch does this usually take?

Ok, so I don’t quite understand how it worked out, but I was one the ones who didn’t get to complete my purchase on preorder day till about 9am. I was told 6 weeks for silver 256gb, had been told basically not to expect to hear anything prior to 17th November. Ended up getting a text on release day to collect my phone. Which was nice.

I still don’t get the logic of it, and I still am annoyed at o2 for opening the preorders early - feels a little like those in the know had a head start.
