Do we have any sort of timescale and order of roll-out to other major cities?

The tariffs aren't brilliant to be honest. The 1GB will be insufficient for most people and you get 2GB on Vodaphone for the same monthly tariff cost.

Does the introductory data offer mean those who sign up before the 31st October will recieve that allowance for the 24 months of their agreement, or from the 31st October it will reduce to the lower amount?

Not very clear O2, and not the cheapest of tarriff options.

A concideration also that you are launching in 3 cities and 13 more by end of 2013 means a LOT of users will miss out on the increased data allowance as they won't sign up to pay a surplus when the service isn't launched in their city.

Any offer will be for the duration of the contract.

The extra data can be used on 3G so it wouldn't be lost.

from the t&c of the offer http://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/rewards/increased-4g-data-introductory-offer-terms-and-condit...

Unless terminated earlier, the promotional data will last until you terminate your agreement, remove the data, or take out a new agreement (whichever is the soonest).

The new tariffs will be useful for people who find their present allowance insufficient even if they only want to use it on 3G.

Hmm so I can't seem to work out how I would get 4G with the info provided, I've been with o2 for about 4 months now and have a HTC One and would like to switch to a 4G tariff...I got my phone from CPW so anyone know if I could switch my tariff or not?

Thanks

As long as your phone is 4G capable just call 202 to upgrade your tariff.

Underwhelmed by the 4G tariffs.   I don't think I'm prepared to pay extra at the moment for the same allowance.  4G doesn't offer increased coverage for voice calls yet so for me there is no need for 4G right now.
