Porting (Migrating?) from O2 contract to VO2 contract

Good morning,

I'm looking for some advice on the following scenario:

 - I have a Virgin "Ultimate Volt Bundle" which includes an O2 SIM. This is currently unused but has about 13 months left on the contract.

 - I'm coming to the end of an existing O2 contract (which I want to terminate).

My question is, can I port my existing O2 number on the expiring contract to the VO2 SIM?  Do I have to port temporarily to a pay-as-you go SIM? or is there a better process?

You will need to speak to CS to do this
