transfer of old number from virgin to new 02

I changed to o2 from virgin media ,I filled on the online form to keep my old number , however the signal is gone from virgin sim, but no number transfer on new o2 sim. I can recieve messages and calls on WhatsApp but not normal texts or calls.
I have tried switching my phone on and off, but nothing, can someone help?

Ports don't happen over the weekend. Just keep rebooting your phone.

If you can borrow a phone, use a landline or Skype to contact O2, all numbers are in this guide

When did your virgin SIM lose connection?

Are you using the same Virgin phone too as it is probably locked to Virgin and you'll need them to unlock it for you.
