sending text shows recipient a different phone number

Hi

I am new to O2. When ever I send a text message, the recipent is shown a totally different phone number to my normal phone number.

 

How can this be fixed please.

Open message app.

Settings > General >Phone number.

For an iPhone, Settings >Phone >My Number.

Edit, save and reboot.....

Thanks for the prompt reply. However I should have mentioned that my phone is an Android Samsung S21+
