I desperately need help!

I switched to o2 14 days ago, received my phone 10 days ago.

I ported my number from EE and I can make outbound calls but cannot receive calls or messages.

I cannot access my online banks or any .gov accounts as they need to send me a verification passwords that I cant receive.

for 10 days ive been calling customer service and they have told me its the mast, it will update tommorow etc etc but I cant seem to get anyone to actually help.

its the last day of my coolling off period so I need it to work today or im going to have to cancel as the phone customer service is awful and just seem to want to get you off the phone, they have told me to ring my old provider as they will have made an error which is not true, they have told me to go to apple as there is a problem with the handset.

Can anyone please help I desperately need this to work I have been missing calls for 10 days now!

Many Thanks

Alex

As you have tried other routes and it is urgent I'll tag an accounts advisor

@O2Sarah- Can you help please?

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Hi Sarah -  I am also having issues with a number porting. Just moved from Vodafone. My vodafone sim card has gone dead and O2 sim has not ported my vodafone number over and I'm in a dead zone between providers. I require my phone for work so this is important to get up and running asap.

thanks for any help in advance.

Having similar issues since changing from Vodafone. I switched over to O2 at the end of October and couldn't receive SMS/calls. The issue lasted around 3 weeks and after speaking to O2 over the phone someone was able to help/fix the issue. Last Monday I noticed I was still being charged for my Vodafone contract. It transpired that there was an issue with the porting process so I had two contracts for the same number with both O2 and Vodafone. I managed to cancel the old Vodafone contract last Monday, but texts and calls have since stopped working again. I went on Friday to get a new sim card to see if that would make a difference, but still nothing. I've also tried the following:
- New sim

- Trying sim in a different phone
- Rebooting phone
- Resetting network settings
- Logging in and out of iCloud
I've been missing out on work calls and OTPs that I need to verify bank accounts/transfers so urgently need to get this rectified. Please can someone help!

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this
