i paid my bill yesterday after having an overdue balance and still not received my data back after it being 24 hours, tried restarting my phone multiple times over the 24 hours and nothings working?!

If your bill was overdue then the system will have cut you off, and it takes a few days to reconnect everything @vickyp1978 

Your best bet is to contact customer services and ask them to restart it.

You can call on 202 or 0800 032 1402 using Skype ( Guide: A Guide to Skype )

And, @vickyp1978, while you are talking to O2 as explained by @gmarkj above, take a couple more minutes to set up a Direct Debit to your bank - you won't need to remember to pay every month after that (it is O2's preferred method for Contract phone payments too!). Good luck!

Hi how did you sort this. Having the same problem but 02 are satung wverything is good their end, but data has not come back on.

Please see @gmarkj's post above ; you will probably need to allow a few days for everything to reconnect. 

 

You can avoid this issue in future by setting up a direct debit :-
