Hi,

I have been experiencing issues with the o2 network over the past month. My phone display shows 3 to 5 bars of signal however when I make / receive a call at home I can have a conversation for a few seconds, then the other person cannot hear me, then the call cuts off.

I have gone on the signal checker on my o2 and all is apparently working as should in my area. I have reported an issue and requested a call back 3 times and have not received anything.

I have tried turning my device off then back on and going into the mobile data settings on my phone but noting is working.

My wife (also on o2) is having the same issues and we have tried swapping sim cards and putting sim card in an old phone (which used to work perfectly) but we are both still getting the same issues.

Any advice would be appreciated.

@RyanCas-Fox The status checker is just a computer generated guesstimate. There are a few other options in this guide: How can I sort out my network issues? - o2uk

If nothing there works you'll have to get back onto customer service.

Also check if other people in your area who may be on a different network are having issues.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Thanks for the info.

I wasn't aware the checker was a guesstimate.

I'll keep trying to get through on 202 but my phone will probably cut out again and I don't have a landline any more.

Worst case, I'll pop into a shop and see if they can take a look for me.
