whilst trying to log into my account . The email and password work fine. Then I select my phone number to send a text to , which works and I get a code . after entering the code it says this number is associated with another account

Hello, my phone was stolen yesterday. I would like to opt for a new device/plan with O2. How should I go about getting a sim with the same number? Thank you.

Using Samsung S22 in South America.

I am in South America with Data roaming activated and I cannot make or receive calls, text or use the Internet. Can log on to hotel WiFi to use WhatsApp. Please help ASAP. Thanks
