Sim only router using data when roaming

My O2 sim has 30Gb monthly roaming data so I have it in a Zyxel NR5101 router whilst in France. However it is using around 1Gb of data a day in excess of any actual use. Can anyone explain why and what can I do to stop it?

What am I supposed to do at this point, Thursday I was ment to hear back within 24 hours we are now on monday. My 02 account isn't live so i just keep getting a virtual assistant not a really person. I'm frustrated and getting very impatient.
