Recently moved to o2 thinking I got a better deal. Turns out I have 1-2bars of signal and no internet at all. Super disappointed and thinking to switch back to previous provider asap before 14days are up and I have to pay the next 24months for this ridiculous service o2 is on in the Wandsworth ( Earlsfield area)....   :((

Always good to test with a cheap PAYG from any of the networks before committing to a contract, @Eleftherios - here's the info on 14-day returns: https://www.o2.co.uk/help/device-and-sim-support/returning-your-device

Good luck!

Hi Cleoriff thanks for the info, I contacted o2 and they are saying a phone mast has been taken down. This looks like a copy paste message they send when people have issues with the network? Not sure if this is true or not? and how long it will take to rectify so I can see if this is actually the case? I have up to the 12th of June to cancel this sim only deal....

@Eleftherios

Check here re the mast situation Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

(Check the Status part of the guide) You can also download the My Network App which allows you to report problems and get updates.

And cancelling a SIM-ONLY contract is even easier - contacting O2 can be a bit time-consuming though 😖

This assumes @Cleoriff's advice does not pan out, of course 👍
