Unable to make or receive calls while abroad

I would like to know WHY I cannot find any access to speaking with an actual O2 agent. This is not on. I am abroad somewhere where I come four times a year, yet this trip my phone has stopped enabling me to make or receive calls.

It is unacceptable that I cannot find a way to speak with O2 themselves to get help.

I am considering changing providers due to this.

I cannot even call O2, or pay my bill, as the phone will not receive OTP codes, or let me call them.

Kindly,

An aggravated customer

Some things to try:
Check data roaming is on in phone settings.
Manually search for another network
Turn off 5g
Change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
Check with O2 whether you have a roaming bar on your account. Do this via social media
If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help.

Also some countries require 4g calling now. USA - Roaming with O2 and others.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Where are you?

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Countries with no 3g here 2G and 3G Shutdowns Continue (telegeography.com) so you will need 4g calling activated on your account.
