It keeps saying I've reached my spending limit but I've not got a spending limit on my account why dies this keep happening I'd like to purchase a new game today from my ps4 through my mobile bill and it wont let me ?

Hello (B.T.W sorry if msg cuts off 1/2 way but rubbish signal).
I've literally spent hours trying to change my spending cap to unlimited (in my case to "Unlimited" as Trying to use it for all types of app's. Due to various reasons there are times I have to use my phone for everything so: work; reading; music; games etc. Yes my plan is the highest costing option and then there's the add-on's 😊 ).
Every time the customer services say its been changed and should, at most, be in place in 3 days (though most of the time they say should happen in few hours). I've phoned, using a couple of different departments after the one that is recommended on O2 help didn't end up working.
Every operator knows I've always paid my bills, including when the stupid company makes me pay 3 times in a month as reached spending-cap.
I've also tried the helpline thing on the site (where a member of staff and I text back and forth), same result "no problem, changed your account on system, won't be long before it kicks in".
NOTHING has worked and I'm seriously thinking about changing to 3 or something.
I've been with O2 for around 15yrs and for 1st 11yrs this wasn't even a thing, not even when a bill was over £900 back then.
I really don't understand as I've no problem with my credit rating, and as aforementioned, they always say its fine and done every time.
Is there anything anyone can think of to get this done please 🙏 🙂

I called o2 an they added a charge to mobile bolt on worked straight after the call. It used to work without it maybe it’s changed I dunno 🤷♂️
