I got a STAC code on and then on Monday 10th April gave it to my new provider Lyca along with the othe details (number to be cancelled, Lyca PUK, Lyca ICCID, port date 11/04/23).
Lyca have confirmed the STAC request was submitted.
Spoke with O2 customer service yesterday to pay outstanding amount and enquire about STAC process and was told:
'STAC code to Lyca but have heard nothing further'.
This made no sense to me - I clearly don't understand the STAC process!!!
So three questions questions:
1. Who is responsible for the next step in the STAC process?
2. When will my existing O2 number/sim be cancelled/deactivated?
3. What else , if anything, do I need to do?
