Sony Xperia 10 won't turn on

Please help me. I purchased a Sony Xperia 10 from O2 Dec 2019. Today it is malfunctioning and won't turn on - flashes the Sony emblem then won't boot up. I live alone and have no other phone (no working landlines) and this is the only way I can stay in contact with my 77 year old Dad who lives over 300 miles away alone. I'm really anxious that I have no working phone.

Try a reset and cache clear by holding power + volume up until you feel 3 quick vibrations, then try powering up
