Someone called me from the number 01274876584 and said that my SIM would expire soon and that they would send me a new one. However, he want to my old SIM. The person asked for my details, but I didn’t provide them. When I checked the number, it turned out to be registered to Welcome Break. How is this possible?
Thank you.

The number is spoofed. I happen to know it is one of the Starbucks branches in Bradford.
Had dealings with them when working there

Scammers can use software on computers to make it look like they are calling from any number they like.
