I’ve received 2 texts today purportedly from O2, saying I’ve requested an OTAC number. Then 2 more texts giving me the OTAC numbers. Texts tell me to call 202 if I have questions.
firstly I don’t know what OTAC numbers are so haven’t requested them. Secondly, is 202 a genuine contact number for O2?
I can’t find any phone numbers on the website.
help!!!

OTAC means One Time Authorisation Code and is normally for authentication purposes @Chris39 .
202 is a phone number for o2 customer services, but you can also message them on social media if you have it.
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) they should be able to help.
Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
