Received a call from 01235 644822 claiming to be Virgin/O2 stating that my sim/number will stop working in 3/4 days. Politely told them not interested and believed it was a scam, told me they could send me a "confirmation" email if I gave them my details - queried that if they now knew I have O2 sim, why couldn't they just send me a text, tried to tell me it doesn't work that way! I hung up at that point!

Just to let everyone be aware of this one, and not being racial, person had a heavy Indian accent - again a sign of a possible scam.  Only answered this "unknown number because it kept ringing (rang for at least 2 mins no voice mail setup), not hanging up after a short while which in my experience is what spammers normally do.

Kind regards
