I backed up my phone on the samsung cloud but when I got my phone back from samsung after I sent it way it was a new device and the samsung cloud has lost my photos what can I do?

If you have tried to restore and it hasn't worked, you need to contact Samsung and ask their advice

Is there a backup in Google Photos?
