I have just bought the Samsung A22, usually I get the Samsung S galaxy range phone. My new phone is not showing notifications on the status bar,or on individual badge icon. So I am not aware, if I have a text or missed a call. On the S galaxy range, there was an Led on the front that kept flashing when screen locked, so you knew you had a new notification. Also the text icon or missed call symbol would be in the notification status bar at the top. The A22 doesn't do either of these. Also on the message badge on the home screen on the A22, there is no dot or number to tell me I have a text, I only know if I open the text message app, then it shows the orange dot next to the message. If I have the phone on and open, then when a message arrives it does briefly flash up but then disappears completely. I have enabled all the notification selections possible and it still doesn't show notifications.
Any advise please.

Notifications are not standard across the Samsung range - but this query might be better researched via Google Search and Samsung forums, @jetangel74 , for example:
