Since moving from Virgin to O2, cannot access sites using moble data which I can access without a problem using home internet.   Get SSL error messages saying site not secure when it is.

Any fixes?

Thanks.

If you are experiencing SSL error messages when trying to access certain websites using mobile data, but not when connected to your home internet, there are a few potential reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Clear browser cache: Start by clearing the cache and cookies in your mobile browser. Sometimes, outdated or conflicting data can cause SSL errors. Go to your browser settings and look for options to clear cache and cookies.

  2. Check date and time settings: Ensure that the date and time on your mobile device are set correctly. SSL certificates are time-sensitive, and an incorrect date or time can trigger errors.

  3. Disable VPN or Proxy: If you are using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or a proxy on your mobile device, try disabling it temporarily and see if the SSL errors persist. Sometimes, VPNs or proxies can interfere with SSL connections.

  4. Update your device and browser: Make sure that your mobile device's operating system and browser are up to date. Updates often include security fixes and improvements that can resolve SSL-related issues.

  5. Try a different browser: If the SSL errors are specific to a particular browser, try using an alternative browser to see if the issue persists. It will help determine if the problem is browser-specific or device-wide.
