I ordered a Netgear Nighthawk M6 with a sim contract for unlimited data at the start of December, which I received a week later (I was told 3 weeks) and when putting the SIM into the device, it doesn’t work. So I rang customer support and I was told that there had been an issue with the warehouse and that “technically” my device and SIM hasn’t even left the warehouse on their system but yet I physically have the device. I was told that a ticket would be put on the system so that it could be sorted and I was given a time frame.
Nearly 2 months later, and I still don’t have a working SIM card. I have rang up customer support maybe 5-6 times since then and each time, I’ve been told the same thing.. “a ticket will be put on so it will get sorted within a week”. I just got hung up on by the customer support representative 10 minutes ago after being on the phone for a whole hour, waiting for a supervisor/team leader I could talk to. The guy put me on hold and said he’s waiting till one is available and then 10 minutes later, phone call ends.
I’m a first time customer with o2 and honestly so far I have never felt more ignored. It’s such a simple issue that could be solved with a bit of communication and time but yet I keep getting told the same sh*t each time and nothing gets done.

Don't worry about feeling ignored as a fiirst time customer, they are like that with everybody.
We, as customers, can't do anything here
Suggest you go the social media route. They are more clued up and you will have a written record of conversations

@BenjaminConway1 You might be able to resolve this by going in to an O2 store, if you have one nearby, with all your receipts and photo ID. They may be able to issue you with a new sim and activate it for you. Unfortunately this is a customer community, so I can't guarantee that will help, but it's worth a try.
