I am not receiving automated 2FA call backs or SMS's from my share broker Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) to my O2 mobile phone account, but I am receiving 2FA automated calls from other organisations (e.g. banks, O2 etc all fine). Also no problem receiving normal phone calls and SMS's. I have tried installing my SIM card in my wife’s phone and the problem follows my O2 SIM card/phone number, confirming that the issue is not related to my phone or it’s configuration - same problem then shows on her phone. My wife’s phone that I temporarily put my SIM card into was working fine at receiving her own HL account 2FA codes using her own SIM account.
Logically it would appear that either HL are not sending me out the 2FA calls or messages (I have tried both SMS method and call back method) or O2 are blocking those particular automated SMS / VOIP calls, and only them.
HL checked my account and they claim they can see that the calls are being sent each time, and that the problem must therefore be with O2, and O2 must be blocking/preventing their calls to my account. O2 say that there is no blocking or restriction on any calls to my account therefore it must be a HL issue.
I seem to be going around in circles here. Anyone got any ideas of what’s going on, things to try, and how I can resolve it?'s.

Hi jonsie, thank you for the guide and suggestions - much appreciated.
I went though checking all the points you mentioned including resetting the auto network function, but the problem remains the same.
