I'm trying to untangle the mess of being sold a 2nd O2 SIM only account through Virgin last May, in order to get the Volt Broadband discount, even though I already have an O2 account (which was previously a Virgin Media account).
The new O2 SIM I was sold last May isn't being used in a phone. They sold it me and said to keep it as a spare or give it to family, but I have no idea how to access that account to look what the data allowance is, when the contract runs out etc. I have never received any emails with the details of that O2 contract. I just have the physical SIM and have been paying for it monthly (was £7 now £8.80 per month).
When I try and log into the O2 account with the email address that new SIM was registered with, it won't show me any details unless I either do 2 things:
Send a code to that new SIM (which I can't do as it isn't in a phone)
OR choose to link it to an existing VirginO2 account...but mine has a different email address and is already linked with my existing O2 account, so will that muck it up?
Please can someone help me, as I'm going round in circles!

You'll need to temporarily put the sim in a phone to receive the code.
