Is it a data only sim as phone sims can't be used?
If so, check your apn settings.

It's not a data only SIM but I use it as such. Been using it for over 12 months without issue but last few days the router is constantly dropping the internet connection although connected to the router. I have a TV connected to the router via LAN cable and the TV is the worst item connected as keeps dropping out. I think I have issues with the IP addresses but will check the APN too - thanks

I'd say that you have been lucky so far and the system has finally caught up with you.
