Hi, I have a SIM card router with O2 SIM card  and I can connect to the router but not to the  internet? Been through Tether set up but still struggling. Can you advise please.

Is it a data only sim as phone sims can't be used?

If so, check your apn settings.

It's not a data only SIM but I use it as such. Been using it for over 12 months without issue but last few days the router is constantly dropping the internet connection although connected to the router. I have a TV connected to the router via LAN cable and the TV is the worst item connected as keeps dropping out. I think I have issues with the IP addresses but will check the APN too - thanks

Sounds like you have run out of road with an unsupported configuration, @Tucks - you need to get the correct type of SIM to guarantee service, viz. a "mobile broadband" SIM:

I'd say that you have been lucky so far and the system has finally caught up with you.
