Hi, im currently abroad and using eSIM from local provider but would also like to be able to receive sms and calls on my 02 nb -can you please help me set it up

You just need to enable to o2 esim, but ensure mobile data roaming is disabled and the defaults for the 2 sims is set to Phone / SMS to your o2 sim and data to the local sim. 

Beware you might incur some data charges whilst you are doing this if you dont turn off Data Roaming on the o2 sim.
