I'm in southern Cyprus and have had a message from O2 saying I need to buy a bolt on for data. I had been told in the o2 shop that there would be no additional charges under my normal uk plan. Can you please confirm this is correct.

You are covered for up to 25gb of data in Cyprus, but make sure your phone isn't connecting to a Turkish network as that will involve charges.

Manually select one of the Southern Cypriot networks, as it sounds like your phone is connected to a Northern Cypriot network, which isn't part of the EU and are chargeable.
