I have just got a new phone contract with another provider. I don't want to lose Volt benefits, so need to keep my O2 account going.
Wife has her number with EE
I have my number with O2
My new contract is with Three
I need to move my wife's EE number to O2 and move my number to Three. The EE contract can cancel.
I spoke to a chap at O2, and he said I can port the EE number over to O2 and end up with 2 numbers on my account. Then transfer my O2 number over to Three. He really didn't sound confident about what he was saying. It would be a disaster if I lost either of our numbers, we've both had them for over 20 years!
Can someone confirm if what I want to do is doable?

You can't do that.
As soon as the EE number reaches your O2 sim the O2 number is gone.
