Porting number to O2

I have just signed up for a new O2 pay monthly contract and I provided my PAC from Three when ordering. I've received my SIM card with a temporary number. When I was placing the order I'm sure there was mention of sending a text message to a particular number to initiate the number transfer, but I can't remember what it was and can't find any information on it. Does anyone know?

Unless you have a text from O2 with a transfer date, it isn't going to happen.

There’s an online form on the o2 website for porting numbers into o2!
