Phone won’t ring

Does anybody know how to make your phone ring when your bank sends you an authentication number, they have all my details but the my phone won’t ring

Are you referring to the ability to receive certain text messages? That's a network issue.

Or the audible alert tone your phone sounds with, when texts messages are received?
