Joined O2 on Saturday. Decided to keep my number of over 22 years. (This is now Thursday).

So stated sim comes next day, complete and utter nonsense, came on Wednesday. 4 days later! There is a reason why this is not good. My current sim ended on Thursday so needed this sooner!

Submitted a PAC at the time, this appears to have been totally ignored so once I got the sim submitted the PAC again (Wednesday). So now today, my current sim cut off, O2 took over but now have no network and no working sim. Turned the phone off and on 4 times so far today and now 14.30!

Just wait I hear you say, but there is an obligation to ensure I have a phone line. I have medical issues and no landline. So this places me in a terrible position. No warning of this happening etc 😞

This truly is not very impressive at all 😞 I can't even call o2 so absolutely no way of sorting it 😞

Download Skype to call for free: Guide: A Guide to Skype

Call 0800 902 0217 or 0800 032 1402
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Completely relying on a mobile phone connection is not a good idea. If you have medical issues you really should have a land line.

Just to add, ironically, 6 years without a landline and never had a single problem with anything not once. Only O2 have managed to do it. I now remember why I left them 8 years ago stating I would never return! The service from the work go has been absolutely horrendous 😞

@ally_s  No, you pay it. What price do you put on your health if being able to communicate by phone is your only option if you have medical issues?

I've suggested how to get in touch with O2 using Skype.

In your situation I would have back up. I run dual SIM, well triple the way I have it set up. O2, 1p Mobile  (on EE) and Smarty on Three.

Either that or there are SIM cards that allow you to roam over all the UK networks.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
