Not registered on network

Hi all,

I am currently having some issues that came out of the blue. I can't make any phone calls nor send text messages, when I try to phone a message comes up saying "Not registered on network" and if I try to use data it says I am offline. Tried to select manually the network operator through settings but when I click on o2 - UK it says "unable to connect - try later" and on the notification panel there is a message saying "selected network (o2-UK) not available"

Does anyone know how to fix this?

The first thing to try is a reboot of your phone (turn it off and back on)

Next thing, take your sim out, clean it with a lint free cloth and reinsert.

If that fails, try a new sim. Quicker to go instore with ID and they can transfer everything for you.

I have turned it off and back on and it seems fine now, so thank you for your help slight_smile

Do you know what could have caused this?

I always say that sometimes the phone is tired of being on all the while!😂 (A joke really as no-one knows the cause) I just know it's the first thing to try if your phone starts playing up. It usually fixes a load of issues.

Anyway, I'm pleased you are now sorted and you can remember this if you have any more problems x
