Not getting some verification codes

Hi,  since moving over to o2 from sky and bringing my number, I can’t get certain verification codes, some work, some don’t. The number is correct and nothing is blocked in settings. This is causing me major issues as I can’t pass 2FA without receiving the text messages. These include bank apps, Apple Pay cards and social media accounts. Can anyone help? I’m on iPhone 11 Pro on latest iOS.

It sometimes helps to turn off wifi before requesting a code.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I am having an issue with receiving activation codes from Natwest for the mobile app and also for Google's 2 step verification. Texts either don't arrive at all or arrive hours later when the activation code has timed out. Other texts arrive fine. It used to work ok when I was with Virgin mobile. Anyone else had this issue or a solution?

 @userpd Try Disabling Auto 5G and Putting it into 4G 🙂
