Can anyone help please? My phone has stopped accessing the internet and receiving or send text messages when I’m away from my home.
it will only do so when I’m connected to my home WiFi.
Is there a reason for this and how can I fix it?

@Ed69 Do you have your mobile data switched on? Are you near an O2 store? If so you could ask for a new sim and they will do a swap for you for free. Also take a look at the guides below:

Why do I have poor coverage indoors? (o2.co.uk)
You could also call 202 from your mobile or 0800 032 1402 and request a new sim and do the swap at home:
