I have 2 new sim cards with different packages on how do I know which is which cause I don't want to put the wrong sim in

Put one in the phone. If it can make a call it's the phone SIM if not it's the data SIM 

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Basically,I've got a new phone and tablet,one is for my phone and one is my tablet!I don't want to put the wrong one in!?it's not stated on the pack?

Do you know the number of your phone? There is no harm putting either SIM in the phone and following the guide to see what number it has assigned to it, @Kitten3589.

The tablet sim should be data only with no minutes or texts

The other will be a normal tariff with calls and texts
